Admissions

A Children's Place Learning Center is a local, family owned childcare facility that is accepting enrollment for full-time or part-time daycare services. Enrollment is open for six-week old to six-year old children.

Admission Policy

At A Children's Place Learning Center, admissions, provision of services, and referrals of clients shall be made without regard to race, color, religious creed, disability, ancestry, national origin (including limited English proficiency), age, or sex.

As we follow a non-discrimination policy, our program is made accessible to eligible persons with disabilities through the most practical and economically-feasible methods available.

These methods include, but are not limited to equipment redesign, the provision of aides, and the use of alternative service and delivery locations. Structural modifications shall be considered only as a last resort among available methods.

Understanding Our Holiday Closings

A Children's Place Learning Center is open 52 weeks a year with the following exceptions (tuition credit will not be given for these holidays):

• New Year's Day (day or day after)
  
• Good Friday
  
• Memorial Day
  
• Independence Day (day before/after)
  
• Labor Day
  
• Thanksgiving Day and the day after
  
• Week of Christmas thru New Years
  

Additional holidays are included for our Kindergarten program only. You can refer to our school calendar for these days. In the event that the kindergarten level is closed for a holiday, daycare service will still be provided for the children.

If a holiday falls on a Saturday or Sunday, our center will be closed on either a Friday or a Monday in observance of the holiday.

Additional holiday closings may occur based on our program participation; however, you'll be notified in advance of such situations.

Getting Your Child Ready For Daycare

Begin the enrollment process for your child by completing our forms. Speak to our staff for full-time and part-time rates. We're offering sibling DISCOUNTS.

Emergency Contact / Parental Consent Form: This form must be on file and fully completed before your child can begin at A Children's Place Learning Center. We need to be able to get in touch with you at any time. Please fill in all sections and sign all required areas. Each time your phone number, employment, residence, or any important thing changes, you will need to complete a new one and send it to us.

Health Appraisal Form: Have your pediatrician complete the health assessment and return it to the center along with shot records within 30 days. But why wait, the form is here! Please take this form to your healthcare provider for completion. After 30 days, your child will have to be removed until the form has been signed and returned.

Dental Form: All children must see a dentist before they turn 3. Please download this form and have it completed before your child's admission and again on an annual basis.

Picture Consent Form: It is important that you tell us if you want your child photographed while participating in activities, or if you want to maintain your privacy by having us avoid including your child in the photography. Please download this form and let us know your preference. We have made it easy for you to choose what sites / form of media you would be comfortable in permitting us to include the photographs of your child.

The State of Pennsylvania allows a child to remain in childcare a maximum of 10 hours per day.
